I have since had two unanswered emails sent on Decem& January 8, 2021. I received a further message from Protectstar the same day that did not address the issue in any fashion. I then stated I purchased the Military option to use the 50 cycles method and if they could not provide a method to make the product I purchased work that they should refund the difference between the Military and Professional versions. I received a response on Decemstating "Please do not use the old 50-cycles methode, please use the 4-cycles ASDA algorithm instead." The "4-cycles ASDA algorithm" is contained in the lesser expensive "Professional" version of the program. I contacted technical support and requested assistance on December 30, 2020. Once the failure occurs the program creates a certificate stating the process has been successful which is untrue. I made multiple attempts to complete this process in the iPad I was deleting and it did not successfully even complete a single cycle before failing. I purchased the Military option to specific purpose of using this 50 cycles option. Military option is more expensive and includes the "50-cycles wiping method Protectstar Secure Deletion Algorithm" method. Protectstar offers two versions of iShredder for iOS: Professional & Military. I purchased "iShredder iOS Military" from on Decemfor the purpose of securely deleting the data on an iPad.
